“Character may almost be called the most
effective means of persuasion.”

~ Aristotle

  • When I'm not working, you'll find me in the kitchen traversing some culinary mission. I relish having my mother’s first edition of “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” by Julia Child. There is never enough chocolate.

  • The original John Wanamaker department store in downtown Philadelphia was my stomping ground as a kid. Nothing beat a hot dog and chocolate soft-serve after a day of bargain hunting with my grandmother.

  • My first concert was Neil Sedaka at The Mann Center. The first celebrity I met was Richard Simmons. I had the honor of giving legendary Phillies pitcher Tug McGraw an award when I was in middle school.

  • My dad likes to tell the story that when I was three years old we went to visit one of his friends; evidently his apartment wasn’t very tidy. I walked in and exclaimed, “Who made this mess?”

  • I saw “Rocky” for the first time a few years ago. (I know, I should have my Philly status revoked.) I watched “Airplane” at least 50 times when I was in high school. And that was probably just my junior year.
